Puff Adders are ambush predators, meaning that they wait in one location for extended periods of time until a prey animal passes by.
Milnerton snake catching cowboys
We recently heard of some guys who catch & relocate snakes in the Milnerton area, but have been threatening with violence other trained & permitted snake catchers to “stay off of their turf”.
These animals are already maligned enough, we don’t need negative sentiments like this amongst the people who are supposed to be working towards conserving them.
If you hear of / come across anyone who acts in this manner, please let us know by sending us a message.
Snake Removal app featured in Cape Argus
Our Snake Removal app was featured in this morning’s edition of the Cape Argus.
(By the way, it’s not so much an “invasion” as just animals looking for water and shelter, so don’t worry too much!)
Please tell your friends & family about it so our communities & wildlife can stay safe!
You can download the app here: https://snakeremoval.co.za/
